Vietnam Veterans of American Chapter 278 will hold a Wagons for Veterans fundraiser next month to help local disabled and needy veterans.
The event, planned for 9 a.m. to about 4:30 p.m.-or when the food is gone-April 14 at the Four States Fairgrounds, will feature at least 15 chuckwagons with food cooked in cast iron pots over open fires, other displays, local music including the Dusty Roads band and live and silent auctions. Food will be served starting at noon.
Entry is free. Adults eat for $10, and children 12 and younger for $5.
