The Texarkana Texas Police Department arrested Meghann Cook, 29, and Kasie Robberson, 31, on multiple charges Wednesday morning at the Wells Fargo Bank located at 4601 W. Seventh St.
Officers were dispatched to a suspicious person call at 8:13 a.m. after bank employees reportedly discovered two women sleeping in a Pontiac Grand Prix parked in the ATM lane and were unable to wake them, according to Shawn Vaughn, TTPD spokesman.
Cook told officers that she did not have her identification with her but said her name was Jennifer Cantrell, according to Vaughn.
After officers confronted her with several inconsistencies in the information she had provided, Cook eventually provided her real name.
She allegedly said that she lied about her name because she knew that there were outstanding warrants for her arrest. Two felony warrants for endangering others while eluding and attempting to elude police in McCurtain County, Okla., were confirmed.
Authorities state two rifles, one of which was reported stolen in Oklahoma, were found in the vehicle, along with crystal methamphetamine, marijuana, drug paraphernalia and several credit cards and identification belonging to other people.
Cook was arrested on charges of failure to identify, theft of a firearm, fraudulent possession of identifying information, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Her total bond is set at $41,271. There was a hold placed on her for the Oklahoma felony warrants.
Robberson was arrested on charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Her bond is set at $2,271.
Cook and Robberson, both of Idabel, Okla., were transported to the Bi-State Jail and remain in custody.
