Texarkana Independent School District's Board of Trustees will hold a called meeting at 11:30 a.m. today, May 21, 2018, to consider personnel and a district teaching permit.
Consideration of the permit allows the district to hire teachers to teach a career and technology course based on their work experience. If trustees approve the permit, it will then be sent to the Texas Education Association.
The board will also hold a 2018-19 budget workshop.
The meeting will be held at the TISD Administration Building, 4241 Summerhill Road, Texarkana, Texas.
