Fallen Bikers Memorial Wall fundraiser is June 23 and includes 5K, car and motorcycle show, more

Russell "Raven" Stewart leads the group in a prayer Saturday after a special ceremony to dedicate land to the future home of the Texarkana Fallen Bikers Memorial Wall. The process of acquiring the land and planning the memorial wall has been going on for more than two years. Stewart and Mike "Fat Boy" Thacker lost their own loved ones and realized the importance of honoring lives that have been lost from motorcycle accidents and those of people who had simply declared themselves "bikers." The goal is for the area off South State Line Avenue to be finished within the next five years, with the memorial wall, an amphitheater, restrooms and a kitchen.
