Buchanan First Baptist Church will have its Mortgage Burning Ceremony following services at 10:30 a.m. Sunday at 3635 Buchanan Loop Road, Texarkana, Texas.
This ceremony will celebrate the church paying off its debt for the Family Life Center five years and two months early.
The day's activities will include a church service, the annual Thanksgiving Communion Service, a dedicatory prayer and the burning of the note.
A Thanksgiving potluck luncheon in the Family Life Center will follow the service.
