Jury sentences Halliburton to life for 2017 stabbing murder

A Miller County jury sentenced a Texarkana man to life in prison Thursday in the stabbing death of a friend.

Cameron Scott "Fishman" Halliburton, 29, was found guilty Thursday morning in the Nov. 26, 2017, killing of 27-year-old Jarrod Klein. Following the punishment phase of trial, the jury of five men and seven women sentenced Halliburton to life.

Klein was found dead in the pre-dawn hours of Nov. 26, 2017, behind the wheel of his wrecked Chevrolet pickup near the Family Dollar Store on Ninth Street in Texarkana, Ark. He had been stabbed 10 times.
