The University of Arkansas at Hope-Texarkana has named Leigh Quillin its new dean of enrollment management.

Quillin brings more than 20 years of experience to her newest role at the college, where she started as the switchboard operator. She has worked in financial aid, student recruitment and testing.

"I am excited about this new role where I will have the pleasure of overseeing an outstanding staff in financial aid, career services, student relations, recruiting, career coaches and testing," she said.

The Hope, Ark., native also owns Quillin Farms with her husband, Randy, and son, Cayden. She holds a Bachelor of General Studies from East Texas State University and a master's in community counseling from Henderson State University. She is an active member of the Hope Civitan Club and attends First United Methodist Church of Hope.

"I have had the opportunity to work with many great people in my years at the college," said Quillin. "The thing I love most, however, is working with students. I have said it before, and I'll say it again: nothing feels better than seeing a former student working as a nurse, teacher or welder, and knowing the UAHT family has helped make a difference in that student's life."
