F.L. Haynes District's Holy Convocation starts 4 p.m. Sunday at the Holy Temple C.O.G.I.C., 903 Summerhill Road, Texarkana, Texas.
The conference's theme will be "The Church Seasoning the World," with reference to Matthew 5:13-16.
Supt. Melton Timmon of Tyler, Texas, will be that day's keynote speaker.
The conference will resume 6 p.m. Thursday with a workshop entitled "Walking in Your Purpose," which will be coordinated by Tiffany Kennedy and will feature speakers Kiwona Wesson and Natalie Hatcher Burns.
An evening service with the theme "Now is the Time" will follow at 7:30 p.m. and will feature Pearlie M. Chatman and Ophelia Evans of Sulphur Springs, Texas, as keynote speaker.
The meeting ends Friday with Dr. Rockridge Hannah as the keynote speaker.
