Vinyl crafters now have a new location to obtain supplies. Vinyl Warehouse recently opened at a new location at 4026 Summerhill Square, Texarkana, Texas.

Kaylee Bannon and co-owner Lauren Holmes said the previous location was becoming too small for the booming business.

"We originally had a location on Richmond Road, but it didn't take long for the business to outgrow that original spot, so we had to move," Bannon said.

Vinyl Warehouse caters to vinyl crafters and hobbyists.

"All sorts of things can be made with this medium," Bannon said. "There are lots of hobby vinyl crafters in this market, some of them have their own cottage businesses."

Bannon started out as a hobbyist in craft vinyl and soon realized the business potential.

"At the original Richmond Road location, the day we opened, we made our first day's numbers target in 30 minutes," she said. "We felt surprised and blessed."

Bannon credits their success to customer service.

"We want everyone to come in and feel welcome, like family. We are always there to offer advice and assistance to those new to the hobby, " she said. "If we don't have the answer right there, we will find it."

Some vinyl crafters have their own side businesses. Or they just make things for their families.

"Making something or questions on the business side, we try to help with both," Bannon said.

Bannon is a Texarkana native who originally was in the medical industry in healthcare information technology.
