Skeletal remains found Tuesday in western Bowie County are believed to belong to a missing 62-year-old man.
Members of the Bowie County search and rescue team found the remains near the missing man's home, according to information from the sheriff's office.
Family members last heard from the man several weeks ago.
There are no immediate signs of foul play, according to investigators, and the missing man is believed to have had multiple health issues.
The remains will be sent to the crime lab in Dallas for a positive identification.
