The old, flat roof on top of Joe's Pizza and Pasta, downtown Texarkana location, is getting some work done to take care of some leaks.

"Weather has been causing some delays," said Kenny Karadiu, manager. "We've been trying to get it done for the last several weeks, but rain has made it difficult."

When precipitation shows up, the staff has to put out buckets to catch the incoming leaks, but if the weather cooperates, the management of Joe's hopes to have it fixed in the next few days.

"Nothing is changing on the building itself," said Karadiu. "Just the repairs. The building itself will stay the same, as well the service."

Joe's Pizza and Pasta opened downtown in 2010. They also opened a new location March of this year at 2700 Richmond Road, Suit 17, near Sam's Club.
