Texarkana, Ark. School District's Board of Directors will hold a special meeting at 5:30 p.m. Monday to hear updates on the middle school project.
The new school will be built on a 31.743-acre track of land north of Interstate 30 between Jefferson Ave. and Crossroads Parkway. Funds for the new building come from a bond restructure voters approved in October 2017, which generated $20 million.
In January, the school board approved a contract with Clark Contractors of Little Rock for the project.
The meeting will be held at the TASD Administration Building, 3435 Jefferson Ave., Texarkana, Ark.
