The Hempstead County Historical Society will meet at 7 p.m. April 23 in the Presbyterian Church in Washington,

The evening program will be presented by Michael Terral on Grandison Royston. Terral works for Historic Washington State Park and portrays Grandison Royston for tours and programs at the park. He will give a tour of the Grandison Royston home in Washington as Grandison Royston. The public is invited to attend.
The Historical Society seeks to bring awareness to the rich heritage and history of Hempstead County.
