City revises master fee list

TEXARKANA, Texas - The City Council on Monday approved a revised master fee list, adopting some changes in what the city charges for various services
and permits.

The changes include a new fee of $1.50 per 1,000 gallons of water to fund a new water treatment plant. Residential garbage pickup is increasing from $19.20 to $20.43.

Because of space limitations, increases in almost 70 various commercial solid waste pickup fees are not listed. Contact the city Public Works Department for more information.

The changes take effect on Oct. 1, the beginning of the fiscal year.
