TEXARKANA, Ark. - Gardeners, farmers and friends gathered around the Keyhole Garden at Gateway Farmers Market on Saturday morning.

Texarkana, Arkansas, Mayor Allen Brown proclaimed it "Keyhole Garden Day." He was joined by Miller County Judge Cathy Hardin Harrison and members of Miller County Red Dirt Master Gardeners at the ribbon-cutting.

The event celebrated the efficient, compact and high-yielding garden that will be used as a tool to show adults and children gardening techniques.

Master Gardeners will offer training classes Oct. 9, 16, 23 and 31 and Nov. 6.
