Splash Pad again closed for maintenance

TEXARKANA, Texas - The Rotary Splash Pad at Spring Lake Park will be closed for regular maintenance Wednesday.

The popular spot where children can beat the summer heat was also closed one day last week. It will reopen Thursday during its normal hours, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., according to a Facebook post from the city Parks and Recreation Department.

Director Robby Robertson decides each year when to close the Splash Pad for the season. Typically the closing date is around Labor Day.
