TEXARKANA, Texas - Two local companies, Phone Pros and Red River Lumber, won AR-TX REDI's "Tap into Texarkana" video contest.
As part of a social media marketing campaign, the economic development group asked businesses to showcase a unique asset of their companies in an Instagram video while using the tagline and hashtag #TAPintoTEXARKANA.
A panel of judges declared the two winners tied, said Rob Sitterley, AR-TX REDI president and CEO. Hightech Signs, Silvermoon on Broad and Opportunities Inc. earned honorable mentions. Almost two dozen companies participated.
Employees of the winning companies will get a Heavenly Sno Shaved Ice party and an AR-TX REDI for the Future Award plaque on Aug. 30.
