Police make arrest in double homicide: Third man is in critical condition

TEXARKANA, Ark.-An 18-year-old man was arrested Thursday in Lewisville, Arkansas, for his alleged role in a double homicide that occurred the previous night on the Arkansas side.

Justin Dalton Wilson, 18, was sought on two counts of aggravated assault, capital murder and two counts of aggravated robbery.

The deceased men have been identified as Scott Weigmann, 45, and Reginald Davis 36, according to a Texarkana, Arkansas, Police Department Facebook post.

The third victim, LajHonta Collier, 24, was in critical condition at Wadley Regional Medical Center at presstime, according to the post.

Police responded at 10 p.m. Wednesday to the Shangri-La apartment complex in the 2000 block of East 24th Street after receiving a call about a possible shooting.

Upon arrival, officers found three men inside an apartment with apparent gun shot wounds.

Weigmann and Davis were pronounced dead on scene. Collier was transported to Wadley Regional Medical Center for life-threatening injuries.

Investigators believe two of the men lived at the apartment and two others were visiting when the shootings occurred.

A neighbor called 911 after hearing the shots, according to police.
