TEXARKANA, Texas — Evergreen Life Services has joined #GivingTuesday by partnering with area groups who volunteered for a service project called "Deck the Halls" to decorate community homes with the people served.

On Tuesday, Tri Beta Biological Honor Society is sponsoring a table for Evergreen in the University Center lobby at Texas A&M University-Texarkana from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Students, faculty and community members can pick up an ornament handmade by program participants at Evergreen's Work Center. These ornaments will be tagged with a service project or item needed by Evergreen, according to a news release.

Evergreen is a nonprofit serving persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Texarkana.

Evergreen Life Services wants to extend a special thank you to Pleasant Grove Middle School Cheerleaders, Pleasant Grove Middle School Star Steppers, A&M-Texarkana PLACE Program First Year Experience Coaches, Delta Chapter of the Tri Beta Biological Honor Society and ALTOGETHERtxk.

"It takes a village, and Evergreen is truly grateful for the volunteers that have made these festivities possible," says Amber Keith, director of donor relations.
