During its regular meeting Monday, the Texarkana, Texas, City Council will conduct public hearings and vote on a number of rezoning and land use issues.

The council will also vote on a resolution supporting legislation related to Riverbend Water Resources District. Texas Senate Bill 578, introduced by Sen. Bryan Hughes, would allow water supply corporations to become members of the district and remove term limits for Riverbend's board of directors.
The agenda includes an open forum during which members of the public may address the council on any topic for up to five minutes each.
