About 900 SWEPCO customers were without electricity Saturday afternoon in Ashdown, Ark., and Wilton, Ark., according to SWEPCO officials.
The outage happened about 5 p.m. after a vehicle hit a power pole near Main Street about two blocks from downtown Ashdown.
No injuries have been reported.
The driver left the scene of the accident and was still missing late Saturday afternoon, officials said.
SWEPCO officials expected power to be restored about 9 p.m. Saturday.
