The Girl Scouts - Diamonds of Arkansas, Oklahoma and Texas are requesting old American flag donations for a March 12 flag retirement ceremony.
Local Girl Scouts will properly retire all donated flags at the ceremony and the event will be closed to the public.
Community members may drop off the old flags now through March 12 at the council's southwest regional office at 1811 Arkansas Blvd. or the Discovery Place Museum at 219 Pine Street.
