The Texarkana, Texas, Farmers' Market will host its annual vendor meeting and seed swap Friday.
Local farmers, gardeners, other food producers, artisans and anyone else interested in participating in the 2019 Farmers' Market season are invited to attend, according to a city news release.
City staff will be on hand to discuss the upcoming season and cultural foods program and to answer any vendor-related questions. Attendees are encouraged to bring seeds to swap.
The downtown, open-air Farmers' Market provides an avenue for local vendors to sell their products while promoting healthy, locally grown food.
The meeting is scheduled for 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on the second floor of City Hall, 220 Texas Blvd.
