High school juniors from Texarkana and surrounding schools attended the 24th annual Rotary Youth Leadership camp in Athens, Texas, last weekend.
RYLA is an international program that was created by Rotary International to encourage strong leadership in youths.
Each year, young people chosen for their leadership potential attend the all-expense-paid camp to develop and enhance leadership skills through activities conducted in an atmosphere of trust and respect. RYLA focuses on the following leadership characteristics: integrity, communication, planning, decision making, trust, teamwork, problem solving and self-esteem.

Maud High School: Skyler Pate and Grace Raburn
