Man charged in alleged laptop theft

A Fouke, Ark., man has been charged with theft of property for allegedly stealing four laptop computers from the Ashdown, Ark., Walmart with a total value of $2,098.97.

The arrest affidavit alleges Bullet Sipler, 29, of Fouke reportedly stole four laptop computers from the Ashdown Walmart.

The Walmart loss prevention personnel contacted the Ashdown Police regarding the thefts and reviewed security cameras.

Ashdown Police Sgt. Zane butler showed the images of the suspect and Texarkana, Texas, Police Officer Jonathon Price also reviewed the tapes and identified Sipler.

The theft of property charged was filed Wednesday against Sipler. He remains in the Little River County jail with the bond pending.

He is represented by Ashdown, Ark., attorney Mickey Buchanan.
