Police, cadaver dogs uncover remains that may belong to missing person in Oklahoma

Missing person case in Idabel, Okla., may be a murder according to Oklahoma news agencies.

Idabel, Okla., Police Chief John Martin said Gary Dickson, 27, is believed responsible for the death of 68-year-old David Duncan. With the aid of cadaver dogs, officials located human skeletal remains they believe may be Duncan, according to a KSLA report.

The remains will be sent to the Oklahoma State crime lab for positive identification.

Last week police received an anonymous call saying Duncan had not been seen since October of last year.

"Some of the information we received is that he had possible been killed," Chief Martin said. "There were some people driving his vehicles."

Further investigation by the Oklahoma State Police and Idabel police led to Dickson's arrest.

Law enforcement officers spent the last two days searching a wooded area near Tom, Okla. Martin said the suspect told officers it was there where the body was dumped.
