The Hempstead County Historical Society will meet at 7 p.m. Jan. 22 at the Presbyterian Church in Washington, Ark.
Josh Williams will discuss the history of Hope, Ark.
Williams is the curator at Historic Washington State Park and grew up in Hope. He published a pictorial history of Hope through the Images of America series of Arcadia Publishing.
The public is invited.
The Historical Society seeks to bring awareness to the heritage and history of Hempstead County.
