Tuesday marks the four-year anniversary of the unsolved murder of a local pilot who was discovered shot to death in his Texarkana, Ark., home.

Scott Roberts, 40, suffered multiple gunshot wounds. Roberts was found by family members who went to check on him at his house in the 1800 block of Garland Street because they had been unable to contact him by phone.

Texarkana, Ark., Police Department investigators have continued to track down leads and interview witnesses in hopes of developing a viable suspect.

"The Scott Roberts case weighs heavy on our hearts and minds as we continue to investigate this case," Texarkana, Ark., Police Department Capt. James Atchley said. "Investigators continue to comb through evidence and work for ways to develop new leads. The truth is out there and we will not rest until it is brought to light."

Investigators have remained tight-lipped in the years since Roberts' death, declining to say where in the residence his body was found or what type of firearm is believed to be the murder weapon.

A reward of $10,110 for information has been pledged through a GoFundMe page. CrimeStoppers has pledged an additional $1,000 for information leading to an arrest.
