Texarkana-region businesses can show off what they have to offer in an Instagram video contest sponsored by AR-TX REDI.
The economic development group is asking businesses to showcase a unique asset of their companies while using the tagline "Tap into Texarkana."
"This is part of our #TAPintoTEXARKANA hashtag social media marketing campaign and will showcase just how creative our people are!" AR-TX REDI President and CEO Rob Sitterley said in an announcement email.
A panel of three judges appointed by Sitterley will select the winner. The winning video will be chosen according to the most creative use of the "Tap into Texarkana" tagline.
Employees of the winning company will get a Heavenly Sno Shaved Ice party and an AR-TX REDI for the Future Award plaque.
The contest entry deadline is Aug. 9, and the winner will be announced via Instagram on Aug. 13. Entry qualifications and submission guidelines follow:
— Businesses in the region can enter the contest by making a short video, 20 seconds or less, showcasing a unique aspect of their company while use the "Tap into Texarkana" tagline.
— Videos must be submitted to Instagram through their company Instagram account.
— Contestants must follow the AR-TX REDI Instagram page.
— One video submission per business.
— Contestants must be a business located within the Texarkana Metropolitan Statistical Area.
— Must tag @artxredi in the post and include the #tapintotexarkana hashtag in the description.
