Van catches fire on Interstate 30

Maria Lopez and her son Joshua Ramos of Hope, Ark., watch their 2001 Astro van burn to ground Thursday, June 6, 2019, on the side of the westbound lane on Interstate 30 near the State Line Avenue exit in Texarkana. Police officials say the vehicle started running poorly and Lopez saw smoke coming from the engine compartment. She pulled over, and the vehicle was on fire. She and her son escaped with no injuries.
