Texarkana College's Board of Trustees will meet at 11:30 a.m. today to hold a workshop on the 2019-20 budget and consider an associate of science degree in health sciences.
Trustees will also consider an appointee to the Ark-Tex Council of Governments, a change in curriculum by the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board and moving next month's meeting to July 29.
In addition, the board will recognize Pam Owney, associate professor of English, as the 2019 NISOD Teaching in Excellence Award winner.
The meeting will be held in the Patman Room of the Truman Arnold Student Center, 2500 N. Robison Road, Texarkana, Texas.
