Residents advised to be on lookout for homicide suspect

Southwest Arkansas residents are advised to be on the lookout for a Camden, Ark., man who is a suspect in a double homicide investigation.

Camden Police are searching for Jory J. Worthen, 23, in connection with the deaths of Alyssa Cannon and her 4-year-old son, said Police Chief Boyd Woody in a news release.

Worthen is believed to be driving Alyssa Cannon's 2007 White Honda Accord with Arkansas license plate 921 YBE.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Worthen, is asked to please contact the Criminal Investigation Division at the Camden Police Department at 870-836-5755. All information will be kept confidential.

Worthen is considered armed and dangerous and should
not be approached.

The family of Alyssa Cannon reported Tuesday they had not had contact with the mother and son since Saturday. Investigators located the bodies of Cannon and her son inside their residence.

The bodies were sent to the Arkansas State Crime for an autopsy.

Camden is about 83 miles from Texarkana.
