The Texarkana, Texas, City Council will conduct three public hearings during its meeting Monday.

The hearings concern rezoning 2620 McIntyre St. and issuing a permit to allow a double-wide manufactured home there, as well as approving a site plan for a dental clinic to be built at 3424 Richmond Road. Anyone may speak on either issue.

Also on the agenda is a vote to approve spending more than $102,000 to improve water infrastructure at Wright Patman Lake.

The project consists of installing flow and instrumentation modifications to the sedimentation basins at the Wright Patman Water Treatment Plan, as required by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality.

Four Thirteen Inc. of Texarkana, Texas, was the low bidder on the project.

The council will also vote on extending an office supply contract with local firm Firmin's Office City.

The agenda includes an open forum during which members of the public may address the board on any topic for up to five minutes each.

The meeting is scheduled for 6 p.m. Monday at City Hall, 220 Texas Blvd.
