Texarkana Independent School District's Board of Trustees will meet at 11:30 a.m. today in the district's administration office, 4241 Summerhill Road, Texarkana, Texas.
Agenda items include proposals to join a purchasing group, improvements to Tiger Drive and improve the area around the track.
Trustees will also consider the monthly financial report and personnel, including Superintendent Paul Norton's contract. They will also consider canceling the May 2 trustee election as District 3's Wanda Boyette and District 5's Bryan DePriest are running unopposed.
Also up for consideration are the instructional materials and TEKS certification and for 2019-20 and the Texas Middle School Course Guide for 2019-20.
They will also hear a report on Spring Lake Park Elementary.
