Lisa McCormack shows a student how to crochet a mat with yarn created from plastic bags on Wednesday at Ashdown High School in Ashdown, Ark. Ashdown High School has focus group days, and each group gets to pick a project. This class decided to make plastic mats that will be donated for the homeless on March 27 to Mission Texarkana. The mats will help the homeless avoid sleeping in wet conditions.
