This summer's Movies in the Park series begins with a buzz and ends with a splash.
Texarkana, Texas, Parks and Recreation Department will screen a free movie outdoors in Spring Lake Park on four consecutive Thursdays beginning May 23.

Mosaic Templars Anniversary
It's been one year since the Mosaic Templars Cultural Museum re-opened and their anniversary celebration included music performances, kids' crafts, cake and tours, which proved to be fun for all ages.
The final film in the series, "Aquaman," will be screened June 13 near the park's Rotary Splash Pad, which will remain open past its usual closing time at sunset.
Each movie will begin as the sun sets, around 8:15 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Viewers are encouraged to bring blankets or lawn chairs to sit on. Concessions will be for sale.
