A head on collision between two vehicles on New Boston Road occurred Tuesday morning.
The accident involved two trucks. The white truck was in the westbound lane attempting to make a left turn and apparently collided with black truck that was traveling eastbound on New Boston Road, according to preliminary information and eyewitness accounts.
The engine on the Ford truck started smoking and some reports indicate the driver of the other vehicle got out and pulled driver and passenger from the Ford truck.
The accident occurred in the 2200 block of New Boston Road in front of Church's Chicken.
The eastbound lanes of New Boston Road were blocked as a result of the accident, which happened about 9:45 a.m.
Texarkana, Texas, police were unable to comment at the time of what happened and if anyone was hurt.
