Work rebuilding North Park Road between Lynn Street and the entrance to Spring Lake Park will begin Tuesday.
The Texarkana, Texas, Public Works Department will rebuild the roadbed, which is expected to take about two weeks, according to a city news release. A contractor will then replace the street's asphalt surface.
The street will be closed to through traffic during the day and reopened in the evenings. It will remain open to residents.
Next, the city will rebuild Eli Street between Moores Lane and Serenity Lane.
Both projects should be completed by mid-June, weather permitting.
