TEXARKANA, Ark. - A light agenda for Monday's regular meeting of the city Board of Directors features an agreement with Miller County for jail services.
That measure and approval of the last meeting's minutes will be voted on by consent, meaning they will be considered together with no discussion. No other action items are on the agenda.
The agreement allows city prisoners to be held in the Miller County Detention Center. The city would pay the county $38 per prisoner per day.
The agenda includes a citizen communication time during which residents may address the Board on any topic for up to five minutes each.
The meeting is scheduled for 6 p.m. Monday at City Hall, 216 Walnut St.
