HONORS

Twenty-six members of the Texas Middle School Band earned placement in the Texas Music Educators Association Region 4 All-Region Band during auditions held in Sulphur Springs last week.

These students will now participate in an All-Region Clinic and Concert on Saturday, December 14 at Paris Junior High School in Paris, Texas.

Named to the All-Region Concert Band are: Keira Gibson - Second Chair Trombone; Zoe Montano - Second Chair Tenor Saxophone; Natalie Taylor - Second Chair Flute; Tyler Unger - Second Chair Trumpet; Adam McCarter - Fouth Chair Alto Saxophone; Tahbri Johnson - Fifth Chair Euphonium; Brett Sparks - Fifth Chair Horn; Isabel Castaneda - Sixth Chair Clarinet; Marlie Watson - Seventh Chair Clarinet; Zoe Taylor - Eighth Chair Trumpet; Riley White - Eighth Chair Clarinet; Nicholas Nard - Ninth Chair Trumpet; Taybri Johnson - 10th Chair Clarinet; Nevar McCoy - 10th Chair Trombone; Marissa Alexander - 11th Chair Clarinet; Elizabeth Parra - 18th Chair Clarinet; Austin Barwick - First Alternate Trumpet; Kason Henderson - First Alternate Tuba; Kason Orgeron - Second Alternate Percussion; Eric Smith - First Alternate Clarinet.
