TEXARKANA, Texas - Arby's restaurant across the mall on Kennedy Lane has been remodeled.
Arby's has recently opted for a sleeker, more modern look. But that is not all. The menu has also changed. Besides the traditioinal roast beef, horsey sauce and cheddar, new items have arrived.
"We've got gyros, reubens, brisket, turkey - and we have more salads," cashier Krysta Perkins said. "Ever since March of this year, we've been adding new stuff."
In addition, the menu will feature new items every month.
"This month is the Petite Fillete, a steak sandwich. We also have the Meatoberfest sandwiches available," she said.
Perkins said the previous motif featured "old-school style, Texas-themed decorations and such," and she favors the new design.
"It is classy, more modern, new. I like it," she said.
