TEXARKANA, Ark. - Police are investigating the death of a 64-year-old man.
The investigation began when police were called to the home of George A. Clay about 8:49 p.m. on Monday, according to a news release from the Texarkana, Arkansas, Police Department.
Police were called to assist an ambulance after Clay's daughter indicated to dispatchers that her father appeared to be deceased.
When officers arrived, they located Clay deceased and believed the death was because of foul play.
Investigators were notified and responded to investigate. Clay's body will be sent to the Arkansas State Crime Lab for autopsy.
