The Texarkana Area Veterans Council will host this year's annual Veterans Day Parade, which will start at 11 a.m. Nov. 9 at East Broad and Hazel streets.
All area civic organizations, public and private schools, clubs, churches and businesses are invited to participate.
This year's parade theme will be "American Legion - 100 years old." The organization was founded in 1919 by veterans returning from World War I.
