TC considers adding classes at Telford Unit | Board to vote Monday; programs would include welding, electrical and construction technology

TEXARKANA, Texas - Texarkana College's Board of Trustees meets Monday to consider adding classes at the Barry B. Telford Unit in New Boston, Texas.

To do so, the college must get permission from the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges to add the Telford Unit as an off-campus site effective fall 2020.  TC plans to offer three associate of applied science programs, including construction technology, electrical technology and welding. All three will be taught as traditional face-to-face classes and three to four new instructors will be hired to teach them.

The meeting will be held at 11:30 a.m. in the Patman Room of the Truman Arnold Student Center, 2500 N. Robison Road, Texarkana, Texas.
