TEXARKANA, Ark. - Three schools in the Texarkana, Arkansas, School District have been recognized by the University of Arkansas Office for Education Policy for growth on the 2019 ACT Aspire assessment tests.
Recognitions include:
Top 5 Overall Elementary ACT Aspire Growth SW Arkansas - No. 5 College Hill Elementary
Top 5 Elementary ACT Aspire Growth (Math) SW Arkansas - No. 3 College Hill Elementary
Top 5 Middle ACT Aspire Growth (Math) SW Arkansas - No. 1 College Hill Middle School
TASD Superintendent Dr. Becky Kesler said the awards mentioned in the OEP report are an indication of their commitment to provide a quality education to the district's students.
"We will stay the course of improving teaching and learning so that every student in TASD can realize their full potential," she said.
TASD will release additional OEP designations as they become available.
