TEXARKANA, Texas - A local man is scheduled to appear in court next week on a Bowie County grand jury indictment charging him with possession of child pornography with intent to distribute.

Osnar Bustamante Labrada, 24, allegedly shared three videos depicting the sexual abuse of prepubescent children with a Facebook friend in Mexico, according to a probable cause affidavit. Labrada was indicted last month and is scheduled to appear for arraignment next week before 5th District Judge Bill Miller.

Labrada is currently free on a $75,000 bond.

According to a probable cause affidavit, members of the Texas Department of Public Safety Criminal Investigation Division began an investigation into Labrada after receiving information other Texas law enforcement agencies, including the Texas Rangers.

Information received on the Center for Missing and Exploited Children's cyber tipline in June 2018 allegedly led investigators to Labrada's social media account. Labrada allegedly exchanged three illicit videos with a friend in Mexico which showed prepubescent girls being sexually abused by adult men and with animals.

Labrada faces two to 20 years in prison if convicted and may be required to register as a sex offender.
