TEXARKANA, Texas - A man accused of exchanging videos depicting the sexual abuse of children with a friend on Facebook pleaded not guilty Monday at a hearing in Bowie County.

Osnar Bustamante Labrada, 24, appeared Monday afternoon before 5th District Judge Bill Miller for arraignment on a charge of possession with intent to promote child pornography. Labrada pleaded not guilty with the help of Texarkana lawyer Jeff Harrelson.

Miller scheduled Labrada's case for its next pretrial hearing in December.

Labrada allegedly shared three videos depicting the sexual abuse of prepubescent children with a Facebook friend in Mexico, according to a probable cause affidavit.

According to a probable cause affidavit, members of the Texas Department of Public Safety Criminal Investigation Division began an investigation into Labrada after receiving information from other Texas law enforcement agencies, including the Texas Rangers.

Information received on the Center for Missing and Exploited Children's cyber tipline in June 2018 allegedly led investigators to Labrada's social media account. Labrada allegedly exchanged three illicit videos with a friend in Mexico that showed prepubescent girls being sexually abused by adult men and with animals.

Labrada faces two to 20 years in prison if convicted and might be required to register as a sex offender.

He is currently free on a $75,000 bond.
