Texarkana, Texas, Parks and Recreation Department's spring community yard sale and electronics recycling drive is scheduled for Saturday in Spring Lake Park.
The yard sale will begin at 8 a.m. and conclude at 3 p.m., with electronic recycling offered from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m, the city said in a news release. Booths for the yard sale will be set up throughout the park, and electronic recycling will be stationed across from the Rotary Splash Pad.
"We're excited to offer electronic recycling to our residents through a partnership with Unicor," said David Orr, director of Planning and Community Development. "With the last electronic recycling day offered in 2016, we encourage the residents to take advantage of this opportunity."
Yard sale sellers can reserve a 20-by-20-foot space for $15. Spaces will be available on a first-come, first-served basis at the Southwest Center, 3222 W. Seventh St. Sellers may offer anything except animals, food, firearms or other weapons.
