HOUSTON-A 14-year-old boy is recovering from a gunshot wound to his chest after authorities say he was shot for refusing to give up his shoes.
Harris County deputies say the teenager was walking in a neighborhood Friday night when he was approached by two men who demanded his shoes. As the boy turned and ran, he was shot.
