CLAUDE HARDWELL

Claude Jerry Hardwell, 66, of Texarkana, Texas, died Saturday, April 23, 2016, in Texarkana. Mr. Hardwell was born Feb. 25, 1950, in Emerson, Ark. He was retired from Ford Wayne Assembly. Survivors include his wife, Alice Hardwell of Texarkana; two daughters, Sharonda Smith and Kawana Hardwell of Texarkana; three grandsons, Delonzo Wilder Jr., Davion Wilder and Marcus Smith Jr. of Texarkana; one granddaughter, Ashley Wilder of Texarkana; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Lonoke Baptist Church with the Revs. David Elijah Sr. and Arthur D. Hill Sr. officiating. Burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery, Emerson, Ark., under direction of Jones Stuart Mortuary. Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Saturday at the church.
